偶然看到一篇文章,悲愤交加：
“我的同学余虹昨天中午12点40分在北京自杀了。
他选择的方式是从他住处的十楼坠落。
他是一个天才。
是我认识的最有才华的学者。
已经是人大的博导。
著作等身。
名利地位都有了。
前不久，我还转贴了他为他的导师石璞百年寿辰在《南方周末》他的专栏上写的《一个人的百年》，字字玑珠，才华横溢。
一个素不相识的人几乎在我得到这个消息的同时，在我的博客里留言：
“余虹走了，就在昨天正午——一个尼采最喜爱的时间！
对于许多人，这都是一个让人极其震惊的事件。
让我们为一个在生命最根本意义上仍然保持着真诚的心灵志哀！
愿你在天之灵永得安息！ ”
我看到这个留言的时候，突然泪流满面。”
What am I going to say might be offensive to some people, so I'll put it in English.
Why Christians claim that suicide is the most sinful guilt? Because it's arrogant. People who commits suicide despises this world and he neglects God, because he thinks he is God. Frankly speaking, they have that talent to feel superior to everyone. Most of them are somehow skillful in some field that no one can parallel with them. But, does that mean you are the one? If you feel reluctant to answer this question, feel your pulse right now.
Is it you who's demanding your heart to beat? A fertilized egg splits into millions of cells which functions as organs to keep you alive. You think it's you who did it? You ordered that egg, which developed into you, to function? We just conveniently ignore it and take it for granted.
Life is a mighty miracle. It's much bigger than human beings and our so called spirits.
Intellectuals are blinded by their Arrogance. They are equipped with their smartness and their knowledge. That's why 'smart' has 2 meanings: clever and acute pain. That's why Chinese would say:"聪明反被聪明误"。 That's why 苏东坡 wrote:"人皆养子望聪明。我被聪明误一生。惟愿孩儿愚且鲁，无灾无难到公卿。" If you think it's negative to think in this way, you are wrong. Cleverness is totally different from wisdom.
If a knowledgeable person's terminal is death, I seriously doubt whether he has ever grasped the essence of knowledge: it's to enlighten, not to demolish; to cure, not to kill.
He left his parents, his wife and his son, in great pain. He's not a hero at all. His reckless behavior clearly illustrates that he's a good example of seeing the finger, not the moon.纠缠于手指，却忽视它指的月亮。
他说：人只要真诚地面对人的境遇，他就会有如临深渊的感觉，他无法摆脱，他在劫难逃。可是，在他看见这个宿命，看见这个悲剧的时候，这个时候，他往前走一步就会毁灭，可他并不退缩，就在那一刻，崇高感就诞生了。
Come on! Don't be ridiculous!
1, he's not a hero. Did he really contribute to this world?
2, he's not a Nietzsche, cause there was only one solo Nietzsche in this world. He's nothing,but a person suffering from depression.
He was killed, not by this world, but by his arrogance.
